Working with YCCC, Opening Boundaries were asked to support the club in their aim to reach out to diverse communities showing their commitment in making Yorkshire a more safe and inclusive club for people of any background.

Opening Boundaries were vital partners in brokering the relationship with Regal Bakery who donated the room and providied on-going advice and guidance on the specifications to cater for all cultures and communities.

Opening Boundaries set up the opening ceremony which took place before the England v Pakistan ODI where people of all faiths and cultures were invited.

​

Director and Co-founder of Opening Boundaries Halima stated “ Creating safer spaces at any level of the game is crucial for the development of sport, we are extremely pleased to be supporting YCCC in developing a multi-faith room which is a testament to their commitment in engaging with audiences from different faiths and backgrounds. This historic occasion marks the beginning of a new way of appealing to diverse communities and welcoming them into the cricketing fraternity".
