A "COMMONS" GAME
Working with the White Ribbon Campaign, Our Co-founders pioneered the first ever White Ribbon All Party Parliamentary Group (APPGWR) at the house of commons.
The group has been formed to discuss the role of men in the prevention of male violence against Women and Girls and How Can Sport Help Us Engage Men?
This will be the first of a series of regular debates about the role of men and boys in challenging male violence against women and girls, hosted by APPG co-Chairs Gavin Newlands MP, Greg Mulholland MP and Paula Sherriff MP.
Chris Green, who founded the UK White Ribbon campaign, called on men to back the crusade against domestic violence.
He hopes the parliamentary panel will kickstart a fresh crackdown, with men being prepared to speak out against pals who condone attacks or join in with “banter”.
“This epidemic of violence against women and girls is in our country and it's up to us to take action to stop it,” he added.
